Assemble Mass is a New York and New Jersey based architectural design office. It is the embodiment of the idea that architecture, urbanism and creation of space is ultimately for the benefit of all people of all backgrounds. It practices democratic architecture that seeks opportunity in all circumstances.
Assemble Mass was founded by Jason Kim in 2018. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California, and his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design, MSAAD from Columbia University, GSAPP.
Jason was part of the curatorial team for the Dominican Republic at the 2014 Venice Biennale, and was the winner of the Intermediate Prize for ArchiWorld Academy Awards Competition in 2012.
He is currently a visiting professor at Pratt Institute and is short listed for his proposal Water Everywhere which studies the possibility of harvesting sea water and reclaiming it as a resource to solve the global issue of water scarcity.
